Soaringwords

Soaringwords’ mission is to empower communities to support and inspire chronically ill children and their families to “Never give up!” Each year, 18% of children in the U.S., over 22 million children, suffer from a chronic or serious illness. If you have fully experienced what is great and good in this world because you love a child, then you appreciate the enormous need for Soaringwords. Compassionate and caring volunteers of all ages engage in unique, fun, and meaningful programs both in person and online so that ill children feel loved and supported.

Make A Difference Day
Soaringwords was honored by USA Weekend as a national charity partner for this year’s Make A Difference Day, the largest day of volunteering in the U.S. Our goal is to have events throughout North America between September and November, 2009. The mega-event will be in Times Square, New York City, on October 24. Volunteers of all ages will come together to decorate SoaringQuilts® and SoaringPillows® with inspirational messages and artwork to donate to hospitalized kids,  followed by an exciting Soaringwords/Nia Dance Jam.
